Sessions
Payment
Nothing is charged on this website. We agree on the plan first, then I send payment details. Single sessions are paid before the session, and packages are paid before the first session.
Rescheduling and cancellations
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to move or cancel a session, and we'll find a new time. A session missed without notice may count as used, and I'll always try to be reasonable if something came up.
Packages
Package sessions are meant to be used within about three months. If you need longer, let me know.
Refunds
If you stop a package early, unused sessions can be refunded at the single-session rate for sessions already used. Completed sessions aren't refundable.
Coursework and results
Sessions are for learning, so I help you understand your coursework rather than complete it for you. I don't write work you'll hand in or help during take-home exams, and your course's collaboration rules apply to our sessions. Grades, interviews and job offers depend on many things and aren't guaranteed.
Independence
Independent tutoring by Judson Dunne. Not affiliated with, or endorsed by, Lafayette College, Hanover High School, Harvard University or Dartmouth College.
Students under 18
A parent or guardian handles booking, billing and communication. Parents can get a brief summary of what we covered and what comes next, and can ask to join or observe a session.
Privacy
The booking form asks only for what I need to reply: a name, an email address, the time you picked and a short note about what you want help with. There are no student accounts, and I don't ask for birthdates. Please don't include sensitive personal details. This site isn't intended for children to submit information themselves.
If you book through the calendar, Cal.com handles your name, email and chosen time so it can send the invite. I use your details only to respond and arrange tutoring, and I don't sell them. Any analytics on this site record which buttons are used, not what you type in the form. To see or delete anything you've sent me, email judson.dunne@gmail.com.
