Whether your student is curious about programming or needs extra help in class, we'll work at their pace in Python or JavaScript and build the fundamentals together. If they're preparing for AP Computer Science, we can work on the concepts and programming behind it.

  • Personalized. Sessions adapt to what your student can do today.

  • Hands-on. They write the code themselves, from the first session, and build things they want to show someone.

  • Beginner friendly. No coding experience needed, and questions are always welcome.

  • Clear progress. For younger students, you can get a brief summary of what we covered and what comes next.

  • Flexible. Sessions are one-on-one and scheduled around you.

For students under 18, a parent or guardian handles booking and billing.

I'm a CS senior too, so I know how fast a course can move. We work through the concepts together until you can solve problems on your own.

For builders

Learn by building something.

Following a tutorial is walking a path someone already cleared. Shipping means picking the scope, hitting errors nobody wrote about, and ending with a link that works when a stranger opens it. I've shipped products on iOS, Android and the web, and we can get yours there too.

What we can build with.

React, Next.js and TypeScript

Components, state and types, in an app you're building.

Python and JavaScript

The language your project needs, learned by using it.

Frontend and UI/UX

Layouts that work on a phone, and interfaces people understand.

Backend APIs

Routes, validation and how your frontend talks to your server.

Databases

Modeling your data and writing queries you can reason about.

Authentication

Accounts, sessions and the mistakes that are worth avoiding.

Deployment

Getting to a real URL, and what to do when it breaks there.

Debugging and code review

Finding the actual cause, then reading your code the way a teammate would.

Frequently asked
questions

My child has never coded. Is that okay?

Yes. Coding Foundations starts from the very beginning, and no experience is needed.

What will my child actually learn?

To write real programs in Python or JavaScript, starting with variables and loops and building toward a small project of their own. Just as important, they learn to get unstuck without being handed the answer.

How involved are parents?

For students under 18, a parent or guardian handles booking and billing. I can also send a short summary of what we covered and what comes next.

What does my child need?

A computer and a stable internet connection. We can set up everything else together in the first session.

Can you help with my class?

Yes, in most cases. Send me your syllabus and I'll let you know how I can help.

How does payment work?

I send payment details after your intro call. Single sessions are paid before the session, and packages are paid before the first session.
